guess who? yes COURTNEY!i think i took over my mom’s job! so yes we went to Venice Florida over spring break(friday) it was two hours away but it was worth it! the drive up was a little crazy. . . three brothers in the back seat trying to watch a movie with only two headphone sockets. . . four headphones for six ears. . . not that fun. . i slept:) anyway! we got there around 11:45ish and it was HOT! like very hot! so hot the sand BURNED! the water however? DELIGHTFUL! but not to my mom she thought is was FREEZING but it really wasn't! so here is how you actually find teeth. . .
1. go to wally world and buy a sifter
2. go to a beach
3. get in the water about waist deep and scoop in the sand
4. shake the sifter so most the sand comes out and all you have left is bits of shell and teeth!
5. bring that up to shore and look through it
sure enough you will find some teeth!

Spring Break + Hard Work = LOTS AND LOTS OF SOD!

This is Courtney Alyssa here helping my mom out. . . sigh. . . yet again;)

This spring break our family decided to take on the mother of all yard work.. .relaying grass on the WHOLE yard! :\

So a few weeks ago we had the missionaries over for dinner. . . they offered to help lay the sod.. .just our luck! ;) Gotta love the missionaries!
That was then. . . at ten in the morning TODAY the grass came SIX WHOLE PALLETS! not fun! i was sleeping(with the window open:) Then the crazy driver of a semi truck came honking his horn about 8 times and i wanted to kill him! OH WELL! life moves on :) i probably needed to get up anyway.

Finally! after one day last week pulling up the front and side yard, Monday mom and the kids raked, weeded and raked some more, and today laying the darn grass. A good 10 hours of yard work! WHAT A RELIEF!! Especially for my daddy, he works so hard to keep my mom happy and our house looking nice . . . true love :)

AND....

Gotta love the rocket launches! this launch has got to be the best one i have EVER experienced while living here. . . we were all in AW at the beauty of this! the rumble was SO loud. . .we were just outside in our front yard watching it. we've NEVER felt the rumble from our house before. . . this was a gotta see launch :D

This was about 15 minutes after the launch when the sun started to come up and the line of smoke started to LIGHT UP! haha this was AMAZING! this picture looks professional! yeah this was just from our front yard. . .not across the street, but right in front of our magnolia tree. . . dumb founded at the beauty!
