Last week we woke up twice to frost (well...ice on the windshields, is that the same as frost?). You would have thought it was Christmas morning all over again.
The kids were running in and out of the house, telling everyone who wasn't outside already to
COME OUT AND SEE THIS!
Taking pictures, grabbing their jackets, trying to eat the ice off the windshield (all the while leaving the front door open like it was the middle of summer!).
It was quite an event around here.
(the kids assure me there is frost on this grass but it's hard to see in the picture)

that is amazing. I honestly didn't know it would get that cold there. Your poor deprived kids need a winter break trip up here. :)

That cracks me up. Tell your kids it was only 17 degrees here the other day!!!
