Last week the kids were given the assignment to rake the leaves in the back yard. See, we rake leaves in the spring here when they finally fall off the trees, not in the fall! Backwards, huh? Anyway, the kids decided it would be more fun to send the leaves down the slide, making a pile at the end of the slide that they could fall into. I'm not sure how many leaves actually made it into a garbage bag...

When I get my chipper/shredder tomorrow, things like leaves will disappear. But, it would be nice to have help raking the leaves that fall here in the autumn.
