For our first week back to school, the kids have only actually attended school TWO days. Monday was a normal day (as normal as the first day of school can be), then school was cancelled for Tuesday because of tropical storm Fay. The storm slowed down and nothing much at all happened on Tuesday. It was predicted that it would hit worse on Wednesday, so they cancelled school for Wednesday too. Again, not much activity - a little rain maybe. Then the storm actually did come our way Wednesday night and the wind started blowing, rain started pouring, but the kids DID have school today. It has rained non-stop for over 24 hours so now there is lots of flooding going on, hence school is cancelled for tomorrow.
My first week of real freedom - ALL of my kids in school and now this! Is there any justice in the world??? :) All I wanted to do was sit at home in my pajamas and read Breaking Dawn!!! Is that so wrong?

WOW! What a week. Maybe next week will be better. Glad the storm did not hit TOO bad.
